In the past few years, as I worked with these energies more extensively, I have to say that my own lifestyle habits have changed considerably. I eat better (fewer restaurants, more home kitchen), I no longer deprive myself of sleep, I stopped drinking caffeinated coffee and cola, no more alcohol or wine (OK, I do on rare occasion indulge in red zin, but it seems like a sacrilege not to), and I have a daily meditation practice. Not yet twice a day as Deepak Chopra suggests in The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, but I almost never miss a day. This is pretty much true of my many new friends in the alternative healing arts.
What I’ve noticed as I attend trainings and events is the heightened awareness of, and increased attention given to, the things that go into our bodies (food, water, medicines, supplements), what goes on our bodies (clothes and skin care products) and the surroundings to which we subject our bodies (our physical and energetic environments). Much of what I hear sounds reasonable and without doing the exhaustive research required to validate and substantiate everything I hear, I integrate what makes sense to me, keep an open mind and decide not to feel guilty about the rest.
What I’ve personally benefited from has been using the filtered and magnetized water from a Nikken PiMagTM Aqua PourTM system -- along with some other Nikken products (magnetic insoles, Kenko Sleep System, PowerMag) – so I became a distributor. Having had multiple knee surgeries and working for years at a computer have taken their toll. These products have provided pain relief and increased my energy level. So I offer them to you. I honestly believe that bone health is critical for women, especially those of a certain age (like myself!), and my history of surgeries is a personal concern.
